It is typically used to remove any leftover traces of sebum, makeup and prepare the Skin for the subsequent steps of your skincare routine. It can be used on all Skin types and comes in a natural formula (with plant-derived ingredients, such as aloe vera, chamomile, and witch hazel) or a formula containing astringents and other active ingredients like salicylic acid or glycolic acid, which can help unclog pores and exfoliate dead Skin cells. The latter is ideal for oily or acne-prone Skin, less so for Dry skin or sensitive Skin.

Apply it to your face after cleansing and before moisturizing using a cotton pad, and do not rinse it off. Let it dry, then proceed with the next steps of your skincare routine.
